10. Use analysing of our website

To enable us to optimise our website, we analyse how visitors use our web pages. We do so by using Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. When you visit our website, a program (JavaScript) is downloaded from a Google server to your computer and run. A cookie containing information on your use of our website is then saved on your computer. This includes the name of the website visited, the time when it was visited and a unique identification code generated specially for your browser, among other things. This information is transmitted to Google and stored in its computer systems, which are partly located outside Europe, specifically in the USA. Technical information about your computer, e.g. the type of web browser used, the operating system and the resolution of the display is also transmitted.

Google processes this information on our behalf to analyse your use of our website, to compile statistics on all visitors’ usage patterns - including broad information on location - and to render other services associated with website use and Internet use for us. You remain anonymous throughout the entire analysis of usage patterns.

This website’s Google tracking codes use the “anonymizeIp()” function; therefore, only abbreviated IP addresses are used, so that individuals cannot be identified directly. Your full IP address will only be used for transmitting the program components and data in your web browser required for usage analysis and will not otherwise be stored or combined with other data by Google. Your IP address will be included in the analysis of usage patterns in abbreviated form at most. It is not possible to assign usage data to you personally using the abbreviated IP address. This also applies if Google uses your usage data itself. This website also uses Google Analytics reports on demographic features, in which data from interest-related advertising by Google and visitor data from third-party providers (e.g. age, gender and interests) are used. This data cannot be traced to a specific person and can be deactivated at any time via the display preferences.

To fully exclude your visits to our website from our usage analysis, you can visit this Google page to download an Add-On for the most common browser types and integrate it into your browser. Consequently, the program component required to collect your personal data (JavaScript) will not run and no cookies will be saved on your browser for usage analysis. If you block cookies in general via the appropriate settings in your browser, the analysis of your usage patterns by Google Analytics will also be disabled.

Set opt-out cookie.
